"Nessa"

Nessa will not get her pictures redone until the fall. Nessa was pregnant when John was here but has since had a darling filly sired by Ruari. Her new daughter shows every indication of being as feisty as her mother. These pictures are from last summer and the colt at her side is her foal from last summer, Redmond.

"SD Sasha"

Sasha will not get her pictures done until the fall either. When John was out she was still pregnant so these pictures are from last summer and she is with her Lion King granddaughter, Annabelle. She has since had another lovely filly with Nobby named Bridget.

brannaugh

"SD Brannagh"

Brannagh is a stunning young filly, a true blue roan. I discovered this spring that Flash Harry did not sire Brannagh. We are still trying to figure out who the stallion was but I do know that it was one of Stevie Down’s uncle’s stallions. Nevertheless, she is a beautiful girl and I am breeding her to Nobby for a 2011 foal.

"Goldie"

Goldie is my silver dapple mare. Goldie has had 2 silver dapple fillies since she came to live with me. One is Jezebel who is still with me and a beautiful little girl from last year, Darcy, who is now living with a wonderful new family, Kevin and DeeAnn Harper. Goldie got to have a year off from her "mom duties." She is in foal to Nobby for next summer.

"Jezebel"

Jezebel is my silver dapple Tobino filly sired by The Lottery. She is now a precocious 2 year old. We are working with her to get her ready to attend some shows this summer. As usual it is quite a challenge. Jezebel has a lot of ideas about how things should be done not all of which coincide with mine. It is a good thing she is so beautiful and friendly.

"Shauna"

Shauna is my 2-year-old chestnut filly. She is a Darrig daughter and a wonderful combination of her sire and her dam. She has a lovely personality and is a very mellow girl unlike her best friend, Jezebel. Shauna and I always see eye to eye.

"SD Maeve"

Maeve is another Cognac daughter. She was sired by SD Murphy. She is a treat to be around because she is to smart for her own good. She is 2 this summer so she like the other 2-year-old fillies is going on to more advanced groundwork. It is always a challenge to stay one step ahead of this filly.

"Maisy"

Maisy is my Galloway Warrior daughter. Like the other pregnant mares she was not looking all that wonderful while John was here. These are her pictures from last summer. She has since had a darling silver bay filly sired by St. Clarins. Both mother and daughter will have their pictures taken this fall.

"Annabelle"

Annabelle is Sasha's daughter from last year. She is a lovely girl. She is now running with the herd and hanging with her best friend, Bonnie. Those two are quite the terrors when they are together. I call them the "mean girls." They are like that popular clique in school. They know they are beautiful and they are mean to any new girls. Let's just say that neither Faye nor Charity is very fond of her.

"Bonnie"

Bonnie is Bella Blue's daughter and like her best friend Annabelle she was sired by Lion King's Legacy. She and her half sister are inseparable and quite the paddock divas. She is quite spoiled by her mother, who I think realizes that this will be her only baby. Imagine how surprised she will be when her mother leaves to pick up her driving training with Trish.

"Fion"

Fion is a lovely spotted mare. She is the newest girl in the paddock. There are no pictures of her yet as she was quite pregnant at picture time. She had a little filly sired by GLG, I Got The Gold. Her birth was quite traumatic and without the aid of all the wonderful women on Mare Stare little Grace would not have survived. Thank goodness she is fine now. She and her mother will have their pictures done this fall.

"Charity"

Charity is a lovely chestnut blagdon filly. She is incredibly friendly. She and her best friend Faye are the official greeters in the big paddock. You cannot do anything without their help. It makes cleaning a real challenge. Since she is just two we are spending this year doing our groundwork.

"Mystery"

Mystery is a lovely cream and pearl Gypsy Mare. She is relatively new to the herd but is fitting in nicely. I have started her riding this summer and once she has mastered that she will go back to Trish Demers to learn to drive. She will be bred to Celeste Huston’s Sir Keith for 2011. That should be a stunning foal.

"Faye"

Of course Faye needs no introduction. Many of you have watched her grow up. Faye is the lovely yearling filly bred by Ella Cummings. Faye is a joy to be around. She is polite, and as I mentioned earlier, extremely friendly. She is quite busy hanging out with her best friends, Charity and Redmond.
