"Nobby"

Nobby has settled in nicely back here in Southern California. I am putting him back in training this summer. We may have an opportunity to go the World Equestrian Games so Nobby needs to be in top riding shape. He of course would be happy to just stay home and hang with his mares but that will not be an option for him I am afraid. Sasha had a lovely filly in May so he once again has a new baby. She is the only Nobby baby this year and I think she is a credit to her famous sire.

"Ruari"

Ruari continues to amaze me. He is the kindest stallion I have ever been around. His paddock is a busy place these days as all the weanling colts are now a part of his stallion herd. He and Nessa had a lovely filly this year. Both Kayla and Nessa will have Ruari foals next year. Ruari will again be going with me to the shows this summer.

"Callahan"

Callahan has undergone that amazing transformation from a colt to a stallion. He has really blossomed this spring. Under all that winter hair, I discovered that he is a black roan. It is quite striking. Callahan is also beginning his formal training this summer. He definitely has that show horse attitude. Callahan will also be going to the shows with me this summer.

"Fergus"

Fergus is also growing up and looking quite the stallion these days. He will also be going to the trainer this summer to begin his education. He is such a playful boy. The paddock will be awfully quiet without him. He is always up for a game of rough and tumble especially now that the yearlings have joined him.

"Hennessy"

Hennessey is my black pearl colt. He is happy that I have put the yearling colts in with the stallions so that he has someone to boss around. He is two now so I have started him on some more advanced groundwork and he is such a quiet and cooperative boy.

"Emmett"

Emmett is my chestnut blagdon with 2 blue eyes. He is a stocky little guy. He was born October 1 so he quite a bit younger than the other boys but what he lacks in size he makes up for in confidence. He is already bossing Fergus around. Fortunately for him Fergus loves him even if he is a bit of a tyrant.
